Kevin is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Amsterdam Business School. His research explores the role of business and entrepreneurship in building a sustainable and equitable society. He approaches this question through two streams: (1) business and culture, where he examines how popularity and cultural contexts shape financial performance and social outcomes, and (2) organizing for societal challenges, where he studies which organizational forms are best suited to address pressing social issues through commercial activity.
His research is published in the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Journal of Management Studies and he serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Management. His work has been recognized with several distinctions, including being a finalist for the Academy of Management OMT Division Best Paper Award (2025) and being shortlisted for the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies (SAMS) Dissertation of the Year Award (2019).
Kevin teaches courses on social entrepreneurship to undergraduate, masters and executive program students and has consulted with organizations including the United Nations, Social Impact Hub (UK), Centre for Charity Effectiveness (UK) in relation to entrepreneurship and social impact.
